Our mission here at IMD is to provide a spinal needle that reduces patients risk of a CSF leak from up to 40% to less than 1%, and also provide a spinal needle that practitioners can rely on and prefer to use.
While our mission focuses on prevention, there are still cases where CSF Leaks occur and the resulting side effects can be severe. While the most common side effect is an orthostatic headache ranging from slight to severe, symptoms can also include: nausea, vomiting, stiff neck, dizziness, tinnitus, and vision changes.
